Jack has a number of valid points. I agree underaged children shouldn't be playing GTA, and I was surprised to hear that America doesn't have a law saying it's illegal to sell 18+ games to children.

However to say "playing violent video games causes problems" is like saying "you'll get a paper cut if you touch paper". Yes it's a possibility, but a rare one. I'm in my twenties and grew up playing Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter. The clocest I've ever come to replicating that is the fact I study martial arts for completly unrelated reasons (in fact I have come to appreciate those games more becuase of it). Studies have shown that a large portion of the children don't get affected and, correct me if I'm wrong, it's only the ones who exibit problems that were around before they even touched a controller that get affected in some way. It's amazing that he's been able to last as long as he has with his weak evidence, and glad someone has finally stepped in to shut him up.

Personally I'd like the opportunity to meet him in real life, impress him in some way and then turn around and say:
"By the way, I'm a gamer."
